The Beginning:
Barney has been involved with racing his entire life; including being a racecar driver since he was sixteen years old. With his wife Penny, their five children and nine grandchildren, they have made racing a true family affair. He has no doubt that this has contributed a great deal to his success. Burney works hard to be the very best he can be both on and off the track.

Career Highlights:
Multiple Time Summit Motorsports Park Team Member and "Race of Champions" Representative! Winner of several "big money" races including the "Ten Grand Nationals" at Summit Motorsports Park! Placed 2nd, 5th, and 6th in NHRA Lucas Oil Division 3 Super Street! Many time best appearing car award!
1980 – 1989 Two-Time Track Champion, Dragway 42
1980 – 1989 Sportsman of the Year, Dragway 42 Super Pro Track Champion at Summit Motorsports Park Super Pro Track Champion and Overall Grand Champion at Summit Motorsports Park

Latest News with Barney:
 May 24- The weekend was a successful one as we were runner-up at Summit Motorsports Park on Saturday night. There were over 500 cars there and well over a hundred in our class alone. We got down to the final two and lost in the finals, which took eight rounds of racing. In four completed weekends of racing so far this season we have a win and a runner-up!

July 27- Presented with the "Best Appearing Crew" award.
